For Capital Region soldiers who are deployed overseas,  calling home this holiday season could make a world of difference.

That’s why there's a push in Albany to bring cell-phones to soldiers.

The AT&T store in Crossgates Mall is working on this along with Senator George Amedore.

All proceeds from recycled phones collected through Amedore's district will be used to buy long distance calling cards for troops serving overseas, and for veterans right here at home.
