Saratoga County man charged with raping young girl

A Saratoga County man is behind bars, accused of forcibly raping a young girl.

Shane Brousseau, 19, is charged with first-degree rape. Police say he sexually assaulted a 12-year-old girl in the woods of a South Glens Falls park early Thursday morning.

Police say Brousseau knew the girl before the alleged attack.

He was arraigned in Glens Falls City Court and sent to the Warren County Jail.
