Shots fired at the Central Avenue DMV office

ALBANY – Albany police say someone shot at the Central Avenue DMV office with a rifle.

The damage happened around 1 a.m. on Tuesday when someone got out of their car and shot at the building. The front door and wall were damaged. Bullet castings were left behind.


The building also houses a Planned Parenthood. 

Police say no one was inside at the time.

So far, there is no word on any suspects or a motive.
