There were questions if law enforcement was ever notified about the complaint at the hotel, so NewsChannel 13 reached out to the alleged victim's lawyers.

Her attorneys say multiple agencies were immediately contacted about the crime and investigations continue. However, Albany police say they were never contacted.

To protect her identity and the investigation, the attorneys say they don't want to reveal more. They are also conducting their own investigation and trying to discover evidence to identify the person responsible for the recording.

Trust NewsChannel 13 to keep digging for answers. We’ll pass along anything new we get on WNYT.com and our later newscasts.
