Men indicted by grand jury in deadly Glens Falls stabbing

GLENS FALLS - Two men accused of a deadly stabbing are indicted by a grand jury in Warren County.

One of the defendants, 19-year-old Skyler Phillips, also made his first court appearance in Glens Falls City Court.

Phillips and 19-year-old Nicholas Hamel are charged with first-degree manslaughter and assault. They're accused of stabbing 31-year-old Charles Werner to death Friday night.   

NewsChannel 13's media partners at The Post-Star report Phillips confessed to the stabbing in court, saying he "only meant to stab him twice."
