Small business owners will get benefits from the massive stimulus package signed into law by President Donald Trump.

In addition to the payroll reduction program, which is a new loan small business owners won't have to repay, Congressman Antonio Delgado said it also includes a provision for relief from certain existing loans.

"My bill actually would in essence waive loan repayments for all SBA loans automatically for six months," said Delgado. "All SBA loans that current business owners are relying upon can be forgiven or waived. no deferment period just off the books now."

Delgado also said the six month waiver applies to new SBA loans business owners can apply for.
