The first snow of the season has arrived in the Capital Region.

Meteorologist Reid Kisselback was in Saratoga Springs where the snow started falling around 5:30 a.m. Friday.

The snow amounts will vary by area. While the snow is sticking to some surfaces, it does not appear to be sticking to the roads or pavement.

The snow is expected to clear up by the afternoon.
