A blanket of white continues falling on the Capital Region.

More than a foot of snow had fallen in Albany by early Monday morning.

There were also more than 700 closings and delays that came into our newsroom.

Meanwhile, road crews in the Capital Region have been busy working to keep everything clear. However, conditions remain very slippery in spots – especially on secondary roads.

New York State Police sent out a tweet, saying troopers have responded to more than 550 storm-related crashes statewide.

Albany International Airport had reported 20 flight delays or cancellations on Monday.

If you must travel, allow yourself plenty of extra time.
