St. Johnsville man allegedly threatens woman and family with knife

ST. JOHNSVILLE - A St. Johnsville man allegedly threatened a woman and her family with a knife.

Police say John Herrera, 32, got into an argument with the woman after she showed up at his house with her family to speak with him on Sunday. He then allegedly punched her in the face and pulled out a knife.

Herrera escaped before police arrived but they later found him at a local residence.

Herrera was arrested for menacing and harassment. He was arraigned and remanded to Fulton County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
