TROY - A standoff in Troy kept police busy Wednesday.
Police say it started as a stabbing investigation on Hill Street Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities got a call about a man chasing a woman down the road. Officers say the woman was bleeding. They stopped to help her and the man was able to run away.
Authorities are identifying him as 37-year-old D'Andre Jones, of Troy. Police say he barricaded himself inside a home on Trenton Street.
A SWAT team responded and officers negotiated for at least two hours before Jones came out peacefully.
The woman is being treated at a local hospital. Police aren't saying the extent of her injuries right now.
