The verdict is not guilty in the trial of Stanley Hall from Canajoharie.

According to his attorney, Hall was acquitted on Monday by a Montgomery County jury on charges of manslaughter and assault.

Hall and his neighbor, 63-year-old Joseph Herting, got into a fight last New Year's Eve. It happened on the front porch of the boarding house where they lived.

At the time, police said both men were extremely intoxicated.
