SIDNEY, N.Y. - A bald eagle is recovering after being hit by a car.

It happened in I-88 in Sidney, Delaware County.

State police say the driver swerved to avoid the eagle, but its side view mirror still hit the bird.

Three men worked to help save the bird.

ENCON took it to a wildlife center.
