COBLESKILL - State police are hoping a new billboard on Route 7 in Cobleskill can help them solve a 43-year-old cold case.

The billboard urges anyone with information on the murder of 17-year-old Katherine Kolodziej to call police.

She was a freshman at SUNY Cobleskill, last seen leaving a Cobleskill bar called The Vault.

Her body was found more than three weeks later in a field in Richmondville.

She had been stabbed multiple times.

"I believe that there are individuals who know something and as of today have not said something. So I am asking anybody with information, if you know something, say something," urged Captain Richard O'Brien with the New York State Police.

Anyone with information on this case is urged to call 1-(866)-313-TIPS. A $2,500 reward is being offered.
