State troopers in New York will be cracking down on speeding drivers next month.
"Speed Week" runs from September 9 through September 15. State police will be using both marked and unmarked cars.
Speeding is a contributing factor in nearly one-third of all deadly crashes in New York State. The fines range from $45 to $600. Then, there's the court fees and the insurance rates.
