Fairgoers try and stay cool in Columbia County

CHATHAM - We broke a record Wednesday, with a high temperature of 96 degrees in Albany.

That didn't stop people from heading to the Columbia County Fair. It was one of the hottest days in the fair's 178-year history.

It's all about keeping the animals and the people healthy.

Fair director John Craft says they've stocked up on water bottles and are making sure the staff takes plenty of breaks.
