A Saratoga County jury is deliberating seven counts in the trial of Stephen Lerario. He's accused of trying to kill his girlfriend last year and maintains his innocence.

Investigators say he used a 20-gauge shotgun to try and kill Katie Gilbert last April.

Lerario didn't testify, but during a jailhouse interview with Mark Mulholland earlier this year, he said he didn't shoot Gilbert, but didn't say who did.

The jury is deliberating seven counts, including attempted murder and assault.
