Do you believe in fairies? A local Girl Scout believes her project to create a "fairy trail" at a nature park in Saratoga County could have provided a magical experience for area families. That is until it vanished.

Emily Strife is 14 years old. Not long ago, she and a fellow Clifton Park Girl Scout worked with the town to create a "Fairy Trail" at Hayes Nature Park off Moe Road for their Silver Award project. It included fairy houses, gnomes, and other magical items dotting the trail for families to discover.

June 29 was opening day. However, all but two of those houses disappeared.

Mom made the discovery on Wednesday, and shared her frustration on Facebook.

Already, almost magically - new fairy houses are starting to appear - proving - there really is magic at work in the woods.
