Stolen tulips returned

Saratoga Socialite Michele Riggi says she got her tulips back after they were stolen.

Riggi reported the stolen flowers to Saratoga Police Monday. She says they were ripped out of her flower bed at 8:15 p.m. Sunday.

On Tuesday, Riggi posted on social media that police had returned her tulips along with an apology note from the two girls who took them.

The girls said they wanted the flowers for their mother on Mother's Day.

Riggi doubts the children were going to see their mother at 8:30 on Sunday night.

She says her children brought her flowers on Mother's Day or the day before.
