Niskayuna student facing discipline for threat that caused lockdown

NISKAYUNA - A student will face discipline for a threat Monday that sent the high school into lockdown for more than five hours.

The school district is not identifying the student, or saying how they will be disciplined.

Niskayuna police are still conducting a criminal investigation.

A threatening note was found at the high school on Monday around 1 p.m.

Police searched the building for hours, leaving students in classrooms until the “all-clear” was given at 6:30.
