Stuyvesant man dies in Claverack crash

CLAVERACK -- A Stuyvesant man was killed in a multi-car accident in the parking lot of Coyote Flaco on State Route 9H on Tuesday night.

Police say a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban driven by 73-year-old Ronald Moore struck a 2015 Jeep driven by 54-year-old Steven Hart of Hudson. The impact pushed Hart's car into two unoccupied cars, and one of those then struck another unoccupied car.

Moore was transported to Columbia Memorial Hospital, where he later died. Hart was taken to the hospital for chest pains.

The accident remains under investigation.
