The Capital Region has some of the worst drivers in the state. That’s according to a company called QuoteWizard.

They said they analyzed data from New York’s 50 largest cities who use their site to compare insurance quotes and then ranked them by rate of incidents.

On their list of the cities with the worst drivers, Schenectady was ranked in second place. Troy placed 19th and Albany came in 24th.

Central Islip on Long Island topped the list of locations with bad drivers.

Surprisingly, the place with the best drivers was New York City. According to QuoteWizard ,the temperament of the drivers in the Big Apple might not be the best, but the rate of road fatalities is relatively low.
