Suspicious death at Wilton motel under investigation

WILTON - State police say they are investigating a suspicious death at the Crest Inn and Suites on Route 9 in Wilton.

Troopers were called there Wednesday for a report of an unattended death. After the initial investigation, troopers have ruled the death suspicious.

The hotel in question is owned by Shahed Hussain - who also owns the limousine company involved in the deadly crash in Schoharie.

State police say at this time, the death does not have a connection to the owners or the business.

The victim's identity has not been released.
