Police in Hudson charged a 16-year-old boy with criminal possession of a weapon.

Just after midnight on Tuesday, they investigated two reports of shots fired along the 200 block of State Street.

While interviewing witnesses, they heard another gunshot a block away.

They say they found the boy on Prison Alley along with a 9 mm. handgun.

The boy is not being identified because of his age.

His case will be handled in family court.
