Teen hits and seriously injures 19-year-old girl, accused of driving under the influence

Police in Berkshire County say they believe a teenager was driving under the influence of marijuana when he hit and seriously injured a 19-year-old girl.    

That’s according to our media partners at the Berkshire Eagle.

Police are not releasing the name of the 17-year-old driver due to his age.    

The crash happened Wednesday night on Route 7 in Great Barrington.    

19-year-old Khali Zabian from Lee is in critical condition at Berkshire Medical Center.    

The driver has been charged with operating under the influence causing serious bodily injury.
