Teenage girl hit by car in Troy

A teen remains at Albany Medical Center after she was hit by a car in Troy.

It happened around 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The girl was taken to the hospital with some injuries to her head and other injuries to her lower body. The last update we have from police says she's expected to survive.

This happened on Eighth Street between Renssealer and Hoosick streets. Video shows the teenager walking in the middle of the road when the car comes up from behind.

Police say the driver is cooperating with the investigation. The driver is not facing charges.
