Teens arrested for vandalism in Hoosick Falls

HOOSICK FALLS - Two teenagers are facing charges after Hoosick Falls police say they spray painted several cars and a building in the village.
A 15-year-old from Bennington and a 17-year-old from Hoosick Falls are both facing multiple charges including criminal mischief and trespassing.
The 15-year-old also faces additional charges of criminal mischief involving a hate crime, petit larceny, criminal tampering.
Police say the teenagers spray painted images of smiley faces, graphic images and a racial slur. The two also stole are also accused of stealing a fuel can from a yard and pouring the fuel on a walking trail to light it on fire.
Hoosick Falls police say they are currently investigating the incidents. Anyone who had damage done during the time frame or who has information is asked to call the Hoosick Falls Police Department at 518-686-7900.
