Volunteers brought armfuls of Christmas decorations to a children's hospital on Saturday.

The Greyson Project stopped at St. Margaret's Center in Albany. The project is named after a one year old patient from Florida, whose family made sure to decorate his room for the holidays. Greyson unfortunately passed away, but volunteers continue this project in his name.

"The center for disabilities center and St Margaret’s Center has really been built on community support and The Greyson Project just continues that incredible community support,” said Anne Schneider Costigan, a spokesperson for the Center for Disability Services. “The resident's reaction, you know many times the holiday are difficult for people, and it just brightens up their day."

The Greyson Project has volunteers across 17 different states helping bring a little holiday cheer to little ones who won't be home for Christmas.

Local volunteers will also be making deliveries to Albany Medical Center as we draw closer to the holiday.
