Saratoga County has sold The Homestead, the one-time county sanatorium for people suffering from tuberculosis.

The long-vacant property in Providence went to the highest bidder - James Walk of Texas, for $55,100.

It's not immediately clear what he plans to do with the decaying property. The last time The Homestead was used was 2004 when a film crew used it as a setting for a horror movie.
