'The SpongeBob Musical' brings underwater magic to Proctors stage

SCHENECTADY - He lives in a pineapple under the sea. However, for the next few nights, he'll be at Proctors in Schenectady.

"The SpongeBob Musical" may not automatically tantalize the average theatergoer. However, if you grew up watching the show - or have kids who did, you'll undoubtedly enjoy the way they bring the Nickelodeon cartoon to life on the stage.


Adapting an underwater cartoon for the stage is challenging, but how the crew overcomes the challenge is all part of the magic.
