Police: Loud TV led to rifle threat

State police say an argument over a loud TV escalated into a man threatening his roommate with a rifle.

Troopers say 35-year-old Thomas Shappy of Carlisle put his roommate in a chokehold and then threatened the roommate with the gun.

Investigators say the argument broke out over the volume of their TV.

Shappy took off into the woods to hide, but troopers found him and arrested him.
