Whitehall woman accused of collecting illegal SNAP benefits

WHITEHALL - A Whitehall woman is accused of illegally getting more than $4,300 in federal SNAP benefits.

The Warren County sheriff's office says 28-year-old Trisha Carpenter was living with her boyfriend in Queensbury when she applied for the money, but reported his income.

She's charged with grand larceny and welfare fraud.
