The debate over if Troy should become a sanctuary city is expected to continue on Thursday.
It has been seven months since the Troy City Council tabled the resolution on it. Now thet plan to vote on the issue Thursday night.
One of the topics up for vote will be renaming it the Families and Communities Together Act, which they're calling the FACT Act.
The revised resolution was brought forward last week by city Democrats.
Also included in the vote will be creating a new role for the Troy Commission on Human Rights to help with reviewing the policy on immigration.
