Troy fire under investigation

TROY – An overnight fire kept crews busy in the Collar City.

The Troy fire chief says the fire broke out around 12:30 a.m. at 169 9th Street. He says it started in the basement and quickly spread upward.

Five adults were able to get out safely, and the house should be salvageable.

The cause is still under investigation.
