Troy mayor releases proposed budget

Troy mayor Patrick Madden releases his proposed budget for 2020.

It calls for spending about $75 million.

That's an increase of three and a half percent from this year's budget.

Madden says most of the expenditures are for labor contracts and debt payments.

His proposal maintains staffing levels - but adds employees for parks and recreation and code enforcement.

There is also money for new equipment for the fire department.
