TROY - Although a protest in Troy was peaceful Sunday afternoon, police say they took a group of suspicious people into custody, and arrested a man.

It started when police learned about a group of people wearing fatigue-type clothing that made its way to a City Station garage. The group was detained in the area of the City Station Apartments on 6th Avenue, between Congress and Ferry streets, and then taken for further questioning.

Noah Latham, 22, is facing a weapons possession charge.

Police also towed the cars the group used, and are awaiting search warrants.

They say more charges and arrests are possible.
