One woman is recovering from stab wounds and another is under arrest after an incident Thursday morning in Troy.
Police say a 24-year-old woman was stabbed around 4 a.m. inside 167 Second St. She was taken to Albany Medical Center with serious stab wounds. She's now in stable condition.
Another woman, 23-year-old Autumn Hinchcliff, was spotted by police in the area. They say she appeared disheveled and had blood on her. Hinchcliff was taken to Samaritan Hospital to be checked out and was later arrested for the stabbing.
She's already on probation for a felony assault charge from February 9 for attacking the same woman as Thursday morning at the same address. Police are calling the case a domestic incident.
Hincliff was sent to the Rensselaer County Jail.
