Shooting in Troy under investigation

September 20, 2019 03:34 AM

Police in Troy are investigating a shooting.

Authorities say two people were hit at the corner of Sixth Avenue and Ingalls Avenue around 7 p.m. on Thursday.

City Council President Carmella Mantello posted on Facebook saying the city surveillance cameras in that area are not working. However, police are not confirming that to NewsChannel 13, saying video is only a tool in an investigation.

The two people are expected to survive their injuries.
