There was a big surprise at a fifth grade graduation ceremony in Troy. The commencement speaker gave each student a $52,000  scholarship to Siena.

The college's assistant director of admissions, Dale Taylor, announced the gift during his speech to students at School 2.

The district says its incredibly grateful.

Each student will be able to use that money towards their costs at Siena if they graduate high school and are accepted into the college.
