Troy takes a stroll back in time

TROY -- The Collar City took a stroll back in time on Sunday.

Thousands of people from across the Capital Region and beyond came out for the annual Victorian Stroll. People dressed in traditional Victorian clothing and enjoyed live music and food.

For many local businesses, the event marks the biggest holiday shopping day of the year.

“This is our busiest day for sure. We have five people ready to work and we're stocked up and ready to go,” said FunCycled owner Sarah Trop.

This year was the 35th year for the Victorian Stroll. Organizers say it's the largest free holiday festival in the Northeast.
