PITTSFIELD -- Two men are under arrest after multiple shootings on Thursday.

Our media partners at the Berkshire Eagle report that 19-year-old Zyir T. Rasheed and 24-year-old Tajaye A. Davis face weapon charges that include possession of a stolen handgun.

Police say a single shot was fired near John Street. Just two hours later, another call came in the area of Francis Avenue where two more gunshots were heard. As one of the troopers began heading towards the shots, he saw a vehicle leaving the area.

Rasheed and Davis were pulled over in that car. Police found a .380-caliber round on the passenger side and an unloaded black handgun under the passenger seat.

Davis was driving the car and owned the vehicle. Police say neither he nor Rasheed have a valid firearms license.

More charges could be coming.
