Two killed in Warren County crash

CHESTER, NY – Warren County Sheriff's Investigators are still working on determining the cause of a crash that killed two on Sunday.

Investigators say 89-year-old Walter Christie was driving on State Route Eight near Hill Clyde Acres at 10 a.m. when he failed to make a right turn

That's where deputies say he hit the car 70-year-old John Lewis was driving.

Both died in the crash.

66-year-old Ralph Lewis was a passenger in Lewis's car.

He was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.

Deputies say alcohol and speed are not factors in the crash.
