Two former aides to Gov. Cuomo allege he was physically inappropriate with them.

WNBC and the Washington Post report, Karen Hinton, who was once one of Governor Cuomo’s aides in his days as HUD Secretary, says Cuomo hugged her in an “inappropriate” and “unethical” embrace in a California Hotel room 21 years ago.

Hinton says Cuomo made a pass at her during a meeting that was supposed to be about a news conference.

A spokesman for Governor Cuomo tells WNBC, “This did not happen. Karen Hinton is a known antagonist of the governor who is attempting to take advantage of this moment to score cheap points with made-up allegations from 21 years ago.”

Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal is reporting another former aide to the governor has come forward with allegations of inappropriate treatment.

Ana Liss, now 35-years-old, served as a policy and operations aide to Cuomo between 2013 and 2015. Liss says the governor asked her if she had a boyfriend, called her sweetheart, touched her on her lower back at a reception and once kissed her hand when she got up from her desk.

In an interview with Liss, she told the paper at first she believed her interactions with the governor were “harmless” but later found his actions patronizing.

In response, a senior advisor to Cuomo says reporters and photographers have covered the governor for 14 years, watching him kiss men and women, and that’s what people in politics do.
