Police in Troy investigating two shootings

The Troy Police Department is investigating two shootings that occurred in the city Wednesday night.

The first shooting happened on Ingalls Avenue at around 5:30 PM.

The victim of that shooting was taken to St. Mary's Hospital.

They're said to be stable and are being treated at this time.

At around 7:30 PM, another shooting was reported on the 800 block of 6th Avenue in the Lansingburgh section of Troy.

In that shooting there were two victims struck by gunfire, a man and a woman.

They are being treated at this time and are in stable condition.

It is unknown if these shootings are connected.
