Schenectady police have made an arrest in connection with a series of suspicious fires last month.

They charged 18 year old Tyrell McCray from Schenectady with four counts of arson.

The Schenectady Arson Task Force says McCray was responsible for one fire on November 8 and seven fires on November 26.

They were set during the day near garages in the area of East Alley.

Fortunately, there were no injuries and no major property damage.
