UAlbany restaurant launches menu to help Bahamas with hurricane relief

ALBANY - UAlbany's homegrown restaurant is celebrating the kickoff of a hurricane relief drive for the Bahamas.

Calypso is a Pan-Caribbean food venue in the UAlbany Campus Center. It won a national award this year for "Best Concept."


To celebrate, the UAlbany dining team is launching its "One-Love Bahama Relief" menu. It will feature traditional Bahamian foods, including conch fritters and jerk pork.

The menu will be available through December 13. All proceeds will go to the Hurricane Dorian Relief Fund.
