Uber now available at Albany airport

ALBANY, NY – Popular ride sharing app Uber has reached an agreement and will now operate at Albany International Airport.

The announcement comes just weeks before the start of the busy holiday travel season.

Uber began operating in the Capital Region in June of 2017, but until now service was unavailable at the airport.

“We are glad that riders in the Capital Region will now be able to use our app to access convenient and reliable transportation at Albany International Airport,” Brian Hughes, General Manager for Uber in New York said.

The airport see more than 3 million passengers travel through it each year.

Under the terms of the agreement, the Airport will receive $2 every time a passenger is picked up or dropped off.
