Student-athletes with disabilities brush up on boxing skills

ALBANY - Throughout history, there have been very few athletes who could climb into a boxing ring and declare they were "Undisputed Champions."
In Albany on Friday, there were more than a dozen local student-athletes who were able to make that claim.
You might say the sweat, the effort and the desire on display inside Schott's Boxing Club in Albany parallels the intensity of a Rocky Balboa workout.
These young men and women -- all of whom are part of the Wildwood School's "Undisputed Champions" Program, are learning to box in a unique, non-contact training program.
All the participants are teens with autism and other disabilities.
