Troy police have charged a 17-year-old boy in connection with a shooting on Saturday.

Police say Uneek Waugh fired a shot in the area of the Church Street alley between 4th and 3rd streets.

Police say he had an intended victim, but did not hit that person, so no one was hurt.

They found Waugh a while later on the basketball courts under the Hoosick Street Bridge.

Charges include criminal possession of a weapon and attempted assault.
