Vaccinations to start soon at Armory in Albany; postponed clinics rescheduled

Here is an update on new vaccination sites that will be opening soon:

• Signups for the Albany County vaccination clinic at the Washington Avenue Armory begin Wednesday. The site is expected to vaccinate about 1,000 people a day starting March 3. The clinic is only open to people who live in zip codes 12202, 12206, 12210, 12209, 12207, 12222, 12180, 12307, 12308, 12305, and 12304.  In addition, people must fall into the 1A  or 1B category.
• Vaccine appointments that had been canceled last week in Albany and Rensselaer counties have been rescheduled for this week. In Albany, the second-dose clinic will be held Wednesday at the Times Union Center from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Rensselaer County will hold its clinic for the second doses from Wednesday through next Monday at Hudson Valley Community College.
