Vaccine eligibility expanding to all New Yorkers ages 16+

Gov. Cuomo has just made a major expansion to vaccine eligibility in New York state.

Everyone 30+ can schedule appointments and get vaccinated starting this Tuesday, March 30 at 8 a.m.

Everyone 16+ can schedule appointments and get vaccinated starting Tuesday, April 6.

This comes a month earlier than the goal President Biden set for May 1.

At this point, 30% of New Yorkers have received at least one dose, with 171,419 doses administered over the past 24 hours, and more than 1.3 million doses administered over the past 7 days.
